"Salt Water Wine" is a 1973 surf movie directed by Alan Rich.

A surfer's full-on view of the world's best surfing at many of the top spots. Like Malibu, Bells Beach, Sunset and plenty of others.

The movie features Ben Aipa and Reno Abellira surfing Malibu. Sammy Hawk talks about Pipeline and then he rides it.

The movie "Salt Water Wine" traveled the NSW North Coast, in January 1975, and played at the Forster Tuncurry School of Arts Hall, as well as Port Macquarie's heritage listed Ritz Cinema.

Also starring Rory Russel, Gerry Lopez, Ben Aipa, Terry Fitzgerald, Nat Young, Larry Bertleman, Reno Abellira, James Jones. Mike Purpus, Peter Townend, Angie Reno, Mike Peterson, Tim Wirick, Wayne Lynch and Barry Kanaiaupuni.
